One

"That which exists is One; sages call it by various names."

A 9000 year old Indian phrase shared by Vivekananda in his Complete Works

Those are words Vivekananda stressed over and over again.  He wanted us all to know them.  They were written in a Vedanta text over 9000 years ago, at a time before man was "civilized as he is today", before man learned to cut the throat of his brother, or shed blood for the sake  of a belief system or religion.

What is so cool about this is, that One is in all of us...we are extensions of it. We are drops of the ocean of consciousness.  Every drop of ocean is the ocean.  Every drop of consciousness is consciousness. It doesn't matter what sages call it.  Some use God, or other names, even many names ( Indra, Mitra, Varuna)...what matters is the direct experience of it. We can all experience that One through Self realization.

Self realization is all about finding the secret of the whole universe. "Who are you and where do you come from?"  These are answerable questions but not to the mind, through direct experience. Singer

All is well.
